What you will be able to do
- You will be able to describe what a Cloud Support Associate does day to day, including support tiers, escalation paths, and where your responsibilities end under the shared responsibility model.
- You will be able to explain the main cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) and deployment models, and locate resources by region and availability zone.
- You will be able to navigate cloud accounts and organizations and apply identity basics such as users, roles, MFA, and least privilege.
- You will be able to read a usage-based cloud bill, identify common cost drivers, and handle everyday billing and quota questions.
- You will be able to apply a repeatable troubleshooting method: reproduce the problem, isolate the cause, check service health, and read logs and metrics.
- You will be able to triage common failures across compute, storage, and networking and route each one to the right fix or escalation.
- You will be able to work a ticket queue by setting priority and severity, meeting SLA targets, and communicating clearly with customers.
- You will be able to escalate cleanly, document your work, and turn resolved tickets into reusable knowledge base articles.

The Cloud Support Role and Cloud Foundations
This module starts with the job itself: what a Cloud Support Associate actually does, who you support, and how support tiers, escalation, and SLAs move a ticket to the right place on time. It then draws the shared responsibility line that decides which problems are yours to fix, and grounds you in the cloud building blocks you will support every day, from the IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS service models and public, private, and hybrid deployment models to compute, storage, and networking spread across regions and availability zones.

Accounts, Identity, and Billing
Most support tickets touch an account, a permission, or a cost, so this module turns all three into your strong suit. You will learn how cloud accounts and organizations are structured, how identities work (users, groups, roles, and the machine identities that software uses), and how the security guardrails of MFA and least privilege protect access. Then you will learn to read a usage-based bill with confidence: the pricing units, the usual cost drivers, the difference between quotas, budgets, and charges, and how to handle a billing case without over-promising.

Diagnosing and Troubleshooting Issues
This module is the technical core of the support desk. You will learn one repeatable method you can run on any ticket: reproduce the problem, isolate the failing part, check service health, and read the logs and metrics for evidence. Then you will apply that method to the failures that show up most often across compute, storage, and networking, so you can tell a quick fix from a real escalation.

Working the Ticket Queue
Technical skill only counts if you can deliver it through a busy queue. This module shows you how to read a queue the way a strong support professional does: separating severity from priority, working to SLA targets, categorizing tickets and communicating clearly, escalating cleanly when a ticket is past your reach, and turning solved problems into documentation and knowledge base articles the whole team can reuse.
